TRANS* TALK AND TEA
(*All presentation/expressions/identities welcome)

Led by Jill Doyle

EVENT UPDATE (March 13th):

Unfortunately, as a festival we have decided to cancel the Trans* Talk and Tea scheduled for tonight.  It is out of an abundance of caution, and with much disappointment, that we concluded that cancelling this event is the right thing to do. As well, please refer to the Government of Canada website for additional information on COVID-19 prevention and risks.

We sincerely appreciate your patronage and hope to have you at another event of ours in the near future.

In celebration of the inaugural Femme Folks Fest, we seek to also create space for collaborative conversation and tea for our trans community. This event will be hosted by Jill Doyle (they/them) with the goal of creating a rich space where folks can be authentic, share their stories, just listen and enjoy some lovely tea! This conversation will be 18+ with a conscious effort to create a safe space for all contributors.

Jill Doyle is the non-binary, queer and neuroatypical Artistic Administrator at Pat the Dog Theatre Creation. They hold an honours BA in English from McMaster University and are working on their MA focused on gender and sexuality at the University of Guelph. When they aren’t answering emails in the Pat the Dog Office, they are creating subversive and silly cross-stitch and embroideries while squeezing their cats as much as possible.
